A Star Wars Horror Movie: Potential Movie Ideas Could Also Work

Just as we were beginning to love the new Core Four invigorated Scream franchise, its two main stars exited the chat, leaving the producers scratching their heads wondering what to do. They must also determine who will replace the director Chris Landon because he left too Scream VII production. So where do we go from here?

Apparently the Instagram account Creepyduckdesign he has an idea. It would work logistically, but that doesn’t mean everyone would like it. Let’s face it, the last two entries were good and made significant bank, but you might be hard-pressed to find them at the top of anyone’s. Scream “best of” lists.

But back to the problem at hand: how to move forward without Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega. And with Neve Campbell considering a return at the right price, how could it fit into all of this? And if Scream he doubled down on his meta formula and did what Wes Craven’s new nightmare did it for that franchise by having the actors portray themselves? That’s what creepyduckdesign suggested in an Instagram post, and to be honest, the pitch intrigues us.

As with most ideas posted on the internet, people have their opinions. In this case, they are likely to be strong because one, they love Wes Cravenand two, they love the show. So let’s break it down into a pro vs.

Scream

Pro:

The entire original cast could return to reprise their roles. They would figure out how to get Stu (Matthew Lillard) back.

Fan favorite Stewey (David Arquette) could return.

The story would be original without messing with the canon.

It would be a great tribute Wes Craven since he came with New nightmare concept in the first place to reboot that series.

It adheres to Of the screams commitment to being meta, adding a whole new layer to the concept.

Neve Campbell he could come back as a leader and get the salary he deserves.

Versus:

We’ll let the naysayers speak for themselves about the downsides of the comments taken from the original post. Let’s start with the director Chris Landon who was beaten at the helm Scream VII: “I hope to die first.” This is not promising. Let’s see what others have to say.

“This is literally the whole plot of Scream 3”

“I have to be honest: I would hate it so much. Once you do, you can never go back. It would be the final nail in Scream’s coffin.”

“Too close to scream 3 lol”

“They already made a movie within a movie in Scream 2”

But surprisingly, most of them people who reacted TO Creepyduckdesignhis idea in the comments loved their “super-meta” vision. Some even threw in their own plot ideas:

“How much more meta could this be and the answer is none. Nothing more meta lol”

Drew Barrymore Scream (1996)

“And the killer ends up being DREW because she was upset that she never got to shine in the first one. She finally broke because Neve got all the glory and it comes Full Circle, it started with Drew and ends with Drew killing them all and walking off into the sunset @drewbarrymore”

“Your idea could fix this franchise 💯

Scream (2022) and Scream VI writers Guy Busick and James Vanderbilt he must be under a lot of pressure at this point to create a script that pleases everyone. But since that is impossible, they will have to do what they can. From the original writer of Scream (1996). Kevin Williamson served as Executive Producer on the last two films, he will certainly be on hand to offer his advice and thoughts on the next one.

Scream 3

But what do you say? You like the idea of Scream VII becoming super-meta bringing back the originals, or should the filmmakers try to figure out how the current timeline progresses without Sam (Barrera) and Tara (Ortega) Carpenter?
