Tim Burton’s new series Wednesday lands on Netflix starting November 23rd. The series is a spin-off that will follow the Addams Family, the daughter at her new private school. There, she will meet friends, enemies and solve crimes.
Synopsis for Wednesday it goes like this:
“Wednesday is currently a teenager and I’ve never seen her as a teenager before. Her snide and sly remarks might not necessarily sound as charming when coming from someone who should probably know better than a 10-year-old girl. It was a balancing act. We didn’t want to make her seem like any other teenager, but we also didn’t want to make her too ignorant. And I’ve never seen her so much on screen. Anytime you saw her on Wednesday, she was one line, the end of a joke, she always hits it and I think that’s what people really love about her. But in this show, every scene is Wednesday. There’s an opportunity to give her a little bit more dimension and she becomes a little bit more of a real person, which I don’t think we’ve seen before.”
Wednesday Starring: Jenna Ortega (Wednesday Addams), Gwendoline Christie (Principal Larissa Weems), Jamie McShane (Sheriff Galpin), Percy Hynes White (Xavier Thorpe), Hunter Doohan (Tyler Galpin), Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay). ), Naomi J Ogawa (Yoko Tanaka), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene Ottinger), Georgie Farmer (Ajax Petropolus), Riki Lindhome (Dr. Valerie Kinbott) and Christina Ricci (Marilyn Thornhill).
