Synopsis for Paranorman it goes like this:

In the comedy thriller, a small town is besieged by zombies. Who can he call? Only the local boy Norman misunderstood, who is able to talk to the dead. In addition to zombies, he will have to face ghosts, witches and, worst of all, adults to save his town from a centuries-old curse. But this young ghoul whisperer bravely evokes everything a hero does – courage and compassion – as he finds his paranormal pursuits pushed to their otherworldly limits.
