News breaks on November 7th, aka Emergence Day. For those who played the game, Emergence Day was the day the deadly Locust Tribe invaded the cities of Earth. The coalition, the back team Gears of Waris set to pair up with Netflix to bring the action to the screen.

The potential of Gears of War the movie could be spectacular if made and cast well. Marcus Phoenix who plays the protagonist of the game must be captured and performed perfectly.

Synopsis for Gears of War it goes like this:

“The game follows protagonist Marcus Fenix, a soldier in the Coalition of Ordered Governments, tasked with leading a last-ditch effort to destroy the Locust Horde and save humanity.“

There are no producers or writers attached yet, but according to Deadline, Netflix plans to make this project a priority. So we should see this category of names fill up quickly.
