of Ti West X it was a true throwback to the southern slasher. It delivered a lot of blood, the daring and misfortunes of the old as well. It also provided a post-credits scene that acted as its own teaser trailer for Pearl. It was a little confusing to see a prequel in its entirety right after watching the movie. But, that’s the kind of madness that West delivers.

The post-credits scene shown in early theatrical screenings had Mia Goth playing the younger version of the creepy older woman from X. Well, tomorrow we have a full trailer for Pearl and today we get this very wonderful poster.

Summary for X it went like this:

“A group of actors set out to make an adult movie in rural Texas under the noses of their reclusive hosts, but when the elderly couple catch their young guests in the act, the cast finds themselves in a desperate fight for their lives.”

As you can see from the top of the poster Pearl will reveal the “X-normal origin story”.

You gotta love that West has had this whole sprawling slasher universe cooking up right under our noses this whole time. It’s a welcome move considering we haven’t seen anything from West in years. If he wants to hit us with a one-two combo X, Pearl and maybe even a third movie, we’re all here for it.
