López has been very vocal on social media about doing Night Country, from the announcement that he received the concert, until its completion. You may know his work outside of HBO, starting with 2017’s sublime supernatural thriller Tigers are not afraid.

Some viewers were divided on the supernatural direction Lopez took True detectivebut the general consensus is that it was a great twist to an already phenomenal series.
True Detective: The Land of the Night stars Jodie Foster and Kali Reis as two investigators looking into the strange mass death of a research team in Ennis, Alaska, who may or may not have succumbed to a curse perpetuated by the area’s indigenous people.
