Ari Aster has been giving us some absolute bangers when it comes to disturbing terror. His last film, Midsummer it was a bad ride in the brightest hours of the day. A personal film that shook the audience from the inside out. Now, Aster’s next work, Beau is afraid see the second poster, as well as a short synopsis and direction of the new film.

Aster Beau is afraid is based on his 2011 short film, Beautiful. In that film, its protagonist gets his door keys stolen. The film then becomes an ever-growing chain of terrifying events that haunt Beau.
The latest poster reveals Phoenix at different ages across several generations. While the original poster only featured a young Phoenix, the addition of the character at different ages reveals the possibility that terror will follow Beau throughout his life.
