Looks like we’re going to get an animation Ghostbusters Netflix series! Director Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan are working on the animated film. They both worked Ghostbusters: The afterlife.

We have very fond memories of The real Ghostbusters animated series. It was easily one of the best cartoons of the 1980’s. The series focused on the four guys in the movie as they explored the New York paranormal.

It’s a disappointment that so far neither Joe Medjuck nor Michael C. Gross have come on board to work on this animated series. These two were the creators The real Ghostbusters. At the beginning of the year, there was hope that the original creators would return to the series and bring back that classic style of animation in the process.

I just hope we get real animation and no more CG. There are too many CG cartoons out there. This must return to the classic The real Ghostbusters style. Damn, bring back as many original voices as you can!
