Blumhouse managed to earn another $ 14.5 million over the holiday weekend. Adding this week’s moohlah to last week’s opening, we now have $ 49.6 million inside.

Along with the overseas box office, Black phone has now made $ 77 million worldwide. Once again, the horror managed to bring people back to the movies. It was a continuous trend that we liked to witness in the last year.

Summary for Black phone it goes like this:

Finney Shaw is a shy but intelligent 13-year-old boy who is kept in a soundproof basement by a sadistic, masked killer. When a phone disconnected from the wall starts ringing, he soon discovers that he can hear the voices of the killer’s previous victims – and they’re ready to make sure that what happened to them doesn’t happen to Finney.

If you haven’t checked it out yet, it’s definitely worth your time at the movies. In addition, it is one of those horror movies that is better to watch with a lot. It has more than a few scenes that will make you jump in your chair.
