Deon Taylor is underrated as a director and producer. His work has had a penchant for horror, thriller and social commentary that is absolutely biting. These included front, Black and blue, intruder, Traffic, and other. His latest film, Fear takes a group of friends on a vacation who encounter an entity capable of fulfilling your worst fears.

Taylor’s work is a tapestry of a return to grindhouse thrillers combined with a strong current of film noir’s strongest voices from the 1970s. I’m always on the lookout for what’s next from Taylor.

In this psychological horror film, a group of friends gather for a much-needed weekend getaway at a remote and historic hotel. The celebration turns to terror as each guest faces their own fear.

The film stars Joseph Sikora Andrew Bachelor, Annie Ilonzeh, Ruby Modine, Iddo Goldberg, Terrence Jenkins, Jessica Allain and TIP “TI” HARRIS.
