Cabana Canibal June 13 VOD
Ok, we have forest cannibals in masks made of human skin hunting down and killing twenty-somethings. I feel like I’ve seen this plot somewhere before. Something similar may have happened in Texas in the 1970s.
This movie has the main role Harvey Almond (Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story), Jane Buckle (Evocation of the plastic surgeon 2), and Muneeb Butt (Qalandar). The cannibal’s cabin was written by Charlie McDougall directed by Louisa Warren (Curse of the Goblin).
Now, this may not be a deep psychological horror film that will be dissected and analyzed for the next decade, but not all films have to be. If you are looking for a new horror movie that will allow you to turn off your mind and relax, give The cannibal’s cabin a try. This film will be available for rent or purchase through video-on-demand services starting June 13.
The Hopewell Haunting June 13 VOD
True-life religious horror has grown in popularity over the past ten years. Thank you in part The conjuring universe and her representation of exorcists for profit Ed and Lorraine Warren.
The Haunting of Hopewell stars Ted Ferguson (Loop break), Timothy Morton (New cops), and Audra Todd (50 to 1). Written and directed by Dan Sears (Butcher Boys), this will be their debut film.
In a refreshing change of pace, the trailer for this film doesn’t give us much information. But it exudes a strong sense of dread and suspense. So if you’re looking for a slower burn when picking up a new horror flick, then check it out The Haunting of Hopewell. This film will be available for rent or purchase on video-on-demand services starting June 13.
Scream of the Wolf June 13 VOD
I love a good tribute movie. Whether this movie will be good or not is still up for debate. But from the trailer we can see that The cry of the wolf aka Wolf Manor is played from An American Werewolf in London.
The cry of the wolf stars James Fleet (The Phantom of the Opera), John Henshaw (The man who invented Christmas), and Nicky Evans (Shameless). Co-written by Joel Ferrari (Pandora), and debut writer Pete the Wild (The cry of the wolf) directed by Dominic Brunt (Bait).
I’m a big fan of the horror movie from a horror movie trope. Given my penchant for meta horror, it’s easy to see why I’m excited about this film. If you’re looking for comedy in your new horror flick, go for it The cry of the wolf a try. This film will be available for rent or purchase on video-on-demand services starting June 13.
Jagged Mind June 15 Hulu
Gas lighting has become a very popular term in recent years. Shaken mind takes this concept and kicks it up a notch by adding time loops of all things. Being in a controlling relationship can be awful, but at least most partners don’t have metaphysical superpowers.
Shaken mind stars Maisie Richardson-Sellers (The originals), Shannon Woodward (Westworld), and Rosaline Elbay (Ramy). Composed of Allyson Morgan (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) directed by Kelley Kali (I’m fine).
Although nothing will ever surpass Groundhog Day, I’m always excited to see a new time loop movie. The trailer of this movie promises an amazing big budget experience. If you’re looking for a more modern feel in your new horror flick, go for it Shaken mind a clock. This movie will be successful Hulu on June 15.
